I think so.. I'll check!
The actresses name is Melody Moore... She must be a fictional actress. It doesn't mention the movie title.

She's fictional BUT isn't there a song she sings "I'm in the mood for love"? There is a reak song "I'm in the mood for love" sung by Frances Langford. She was part of Bob Hope's USO tours during World War II.
She was also a popular recording artist and radio star during the 1930s to 1950s, and starred in more than 30 Hollywood films. Her trademark song, I'm In The Mood For Love, was written for her 1935 movie Every Night at Eight.
She died last July.
